This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Systems Manager - REMOTE. In this role, you will coordinate the digital architecture and automation processes of manufacturing operations. You will work cross-functionally to implement solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency and connect physical and digital environments. This pivotal position involves partnering with stakeholders to develop business requirements, ensuring optimal visibility of all manufacturing processes. Your expertise will drive operational excellence and impact the overall success of the organization.


Accountabilities
  • Partner with project management for new system implementations and software upgrades.
  • Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of core manufacturing systems, including MES.
  • Serve as the technical expert to provide necessary support and training.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems reliability and availability.
  • Support governance frameworks and performance metrics in the manufacturing program.
  • Translate business requirements into technical system solutions with various departments.
  • Own process improvement recommendations using digital tools and new technology.
  • Ensure data integrity from the shop floor to management reports.
  • Mentor and train users of the manufacturing systems.
  • Develop training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for end-users.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering or operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with MES systems and ERP integration points.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) and PMP preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation standards and shop floor hardware (PLCs, IoT sensors).
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
