This role is designed for a seasoned retail leader who can drive sales performance and elevate client experiences across multiple locations. You will design and implement advanced training programs that empower sales associates and showroom leaders to consistently deliver exceptional customer interactions. By integrating instructional design, coaching, and data-driven insights, you will directly impact sales, conversion rates, and customer loyalty. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while leading enterprise-wide training initiatives. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Retail, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Service, to ensure alignment and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail sales, learning strategy, and coaching, combined with a passion for creating immersive, results-driven programs.


Accountabilities:
  • Design and implement innovative sales training programs focused on relationship-driven client engagement and advanced selling techniques.
  • Develop and deliver training initiatives that ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences across showrooms and retail partners.
  • Coach and mentor showroom leaders and associates to enhance sales skills, customer experience, and team performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate new products, services, and strategies into training programs.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate training effectiveness and optimize learning initiatives.
  • Utilize performance data and field feedback to continuously refine training programs for scalability and impact.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, instructional designers, and content developers to deliver high-quality learning solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience designing and implementing retail sales training programs at an enterprise level.
  • 7+ years of progressive retail experience, ideally in home/furniture or highly consultative retail environments.
  • 3+ years in sales enablement, learning & development, or client experience leadership.
  • Proven ability to drive sales performance and enhance customer experiences through training programs.
  • Strong instructional design and facilitation skills, with experience creating engaging learning content.
  • Exceptional coaching, communication, and leadership skills, with a focus on developing teams.
  • Experience with LMS platforms, AR/VR tools, CRM systems, and digital learning technologies.
  • Ability to travel as needed for training, coaching, and field support.
  • Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment.
