ThreatDown is looking for..

An energetic, highly motivated, seasoned professional deeply embedded in the North American channel who is passionate about the hunt. In this role, you will be solely responsible for identifying, recruiting, and closing high-value MSP Partners across the US and Canada for the ThreatDown MSP Program. This is a high-level individual contributor role for a "heavy hitter" who can function in the trenches with partners and possesses strong presentation skills. You will focus on high-impact, direct recruitment of the top 100 North American MSPs and National Service Providers (NSPs). 

This role reports directly into and works in close lockstep with the Global Vice President of MSP and Distribution. You will act as a strategic extension of leadership in the field, executing a consultative "hunter" approach that is heavily incentivized by exponential growth and new partner acquisition. 


Compensation Range: $180-200K OTE ($90 -100K base + $90-100K in commission - 50/50 Split)


What You Will Do:

  • Direct Executive Partnership: Work with the Global VP of MSP to identify high-value targets, refine displacement strategies, and close complex, large-scale deals. 
  • Lead North American Recruitment: Own the full recruitment lifecycle for Large to Mid-sized  MSPs, focusing on displacing legacy competitors and securing high-volume partnerships. 
  • Execute the Hunt: Spend your time in the field and in the boardroom—not on the keynote stage. This role is about direct engagement and closing, not event speaking. 
  • Strategic Networking: Leverage an extensive network of North American industry relationships to engage directly with MSP principals, CEOs, and CTOs at the highest level. 
  • Drive New Revenue Growth: Focus exclusively on the acquisition of new logos and the rapid expansion of endpoints within the first 120 days of partnership. 
  • Technical & Business Advisory: Articulate the business value and technical superiority of the ThreatDown stack to sophisticated North American MSP owners. 
  • High-Impact Closing: Develop and deliver compelling pitches and business cases tailored to the economic drivers of the North American IT services market. 


Skills You'll Need to Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in North American IT/Cybersecurity sales, with a proven track record of recruiting and closing large-scale MSP partners as an individual contributor. 
  • Elite Hunter Mentality: Entrepreneurial, creative, and highly motivated by a compensation structure that rewards aggressive growth and new business. 
  • Street Credibility: Deep understanding of the North American MSP business model, including NOC/SOC operations, RMM integration, and the economics of per-endpoint pricing. 
  • High Activity & Precision: Proven ability to manage a complex NAM field sales funnel, effectively forecast recruitment cycles, and maintain a high level of outbound activity. 
  • Expert Negotiation: Elite listening and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals at the executive level. 
  • Direct Feedback Loop: Ability to provide the Global VP with real-time North American market intelligence to help shape the broader distribution strategy.
