The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively, strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role reports to our AVP, Enterprise Architect and Integrations.</p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your responsibilities will include:</span></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET Core.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.</li><li>Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.</li><li>Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.</li><li>Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.</li><li>Develop and implement RESTful services and microservices architectures.</li><li>Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest industry technologies, frameworks, patterns and services</li></ul><p> </p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your skills and abilities should include:</span></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development.</li><li>Proficiency in .NET development, specifically with .NET version 6 and above. Extensive experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.</li><li>Strong understanding of the Python programming language, including core concepts, data structures, and algorithms.</li><li>Hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, S3, RDS, SQS.</li><li>Skilled in using Docker for containerization, Kubernetes for orchestration, and Helm for managing Kubernetes applications.</li><li>Database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Redshift, Aurora, DataBricks, SnowFlake, including experience with database design and optimization.</li><li>Strong understanding of and hands-on experience in designing and implementing MicroService architectures.</li><li>Expertise in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.</li><li>Proficient in using Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
