Together, we are cultivating a connected culture where everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed together.</p><p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p><p>Jensen Hughes is seeking accomplished mid- to senior-level Engineers with demonstrated expertise in Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) and Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) to support risk-informed regulatory initiatives and advanced client projects. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong record of leading or significantly contributing to PRA efforts for operating or advanced nuclear facilities, while also fostering strong client relationships.</p><p>While our PRA team is based in West Chester, PA, we understand top talent isn’t confined by geography. Remote work is available for highly qualified candidates.</p><p>At Jensen Hughes, we partner with global leaders in the nuclear industry to tackle complex, high-impact projects. You'll work at the forefront of risk-informed engineering, licensing strategies, and next-generation PRA modeling techniques. If you're energized by technical depth, strategic influence, and client engagement, this is your kind of environment.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>In this role, you will apply your PRA expertise across a range of impactful projects, including:</p><ul><li>Development, maintenance, and enhancement of PRA models</li><li>Fire PRA, seismic PRA, external hazards, and internal flooding assessments</li><li>Risk-informed regulatory applications (e.g., RICT, 50.69, ILRT extensions)</li><li>Integration and application of online risk tools (e.g., Phoenix RM, PARAGON)</li><li>Human Reliability Analysis (HRA) and severe accident modeling</li><li>Regulatory and licensing support for complex initiatives</li><li>Development of innovative PRA methodologies</li><li>Supporting business growth by building client relationships and identifying new opportunities</li></ul><p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead or provide senior-level input on PRA analyses, modeling, and calculations</li><li>Develop and present PRA-based licensing strategies to clients and regulators</li><li>Mentor early-career engineers through knowledge sharing and technical guidance</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, innovative solutions</li><li>Communicate PRA findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Identify and support strategic business development opportunities</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements and Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent PRA-related experience</li><li>At least 5 years (10+ preferred) of hands-on PRA experience, including internal events, fire PRA, or risk-informed applications</li><li>Demonstrated experience leading risk-informed applications or PRA model enhancements</li><li>Strong analytical skills with a focus on nuclear safety and operational integrity</li><li>Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with operating or advanced nuclear plant engineering, operations, or licensing</li><li>Familiarity with NRC risk-informed decision-making processes</li><li>Consulting experience with direct client interaction</li><li>Project management or technical leadership experience</li></ul><p>#LI-BD1</p><p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em><strong>Jensen Hughes is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
