This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr Engagement Director, Data Solutions in United States.

This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of healthcare data, client strategy, and product delivery, overseeing complex data solutions engagements that drive commercial impact across the pharmaceutical and life sciences ecosystem. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end execution of data accelerators and analytics-ready datasets, ensuring high-quality delivery while also expanding client relationships and revenue opportunities. Acting as both a strategic advisor and product subject matter expert, you will guide clients through sophisticated market access and commercial data challenges. The role requires close collaboration with global delivery teams, including offshore technical groups, to ensure seamless execution and operational excellence. You will also serve as a mentor and leader-coach to a team of engagement managers, fostering high performance and continuous development. This is a highly visible, client-facing role suited for an experienced leader who thrives in complex, data-driven environments and enjoys balancing strategy, delivery, and team leadership.

Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the primary client-facing advisor for data solutions engagements, acting as both strategic partner and subject matter expert across accelerators and analytics-ready datasets.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple data solutions programs, ensuring high-quality execution from standardized accelerator components through customized client-specific “last mile” solutions.
  • Manage and grow client relationships, driving account expansion and maintaining an annual revenue target of approximately $1M.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and profitable delivery across engagements.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with offshore technical and content teams to ensure alignment, operational efficiency, and consistent delivery quality.
  • Translate complex market access, payer, provider, and healthcare data challenges into actionable insights and scalable solutions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Act as a leader-coach for engagement managers, guiding performance, development, and execution excellence.
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture focused on client success and delivery integrity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • 10–12+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, pharmaceutical services, market access, or data product delivery roles.
  • Strong expertise in pharmaceutical commercialization processes, with hands-on experience in market access, payer, patient, or provider data domains.
  • Proven track record managing complex data-driven engagements, including accelerators or scalable dataset solutions.
  • Experience working within distributed onsite-offshore delivery models and managing global teams.
  • Strong client-facing and consulting skills, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing, mentoring, and developing direct reports or delivery teams.
  • Strong analytical and operational skills with the ability to connect data insights to business and commercial outcomes.
  • Ability to balance strategic advisory responsibilities with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of approximately $175,000 – $200,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus eligibility.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Retirement savings plan with employer contributions.
  • Life and disability insurance coverage.
  • Paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and parental leave.
  • Flexible work arrangements within a remote-friendly structure.
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact healthcare data solutions supporting pharmaceutical and life sciences innovation.
