The Sr Director IT Business Enablement – Manufacturing & Quality will serve as a strategic technology leader, connecting business objectives with innovative IT solutions that drive operational excellence. This role will shape the technology strategy supporting manufacturing and quality operations while enabling digital transformation across a global organization. The successful candidate will partner with senior business leaders, IT teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. You will lead enterprise initiatives, define technology roadmaps, and ensure investments create measurable business value. Accountabilities:The Sr Director IT Business Enablement – Manufacturing & Quality will lead the development and execution of technology strategies that align IT capabilities with manufacturing and quality business priorities. This role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to translate complex operational needs into scalable technology solutions.
- Serve as a strategic IT partner to manufacturing and quality leadership, aligning technology roadmaps, digital initiatives, and transformation programs with business goals.
- Define, govern, and continuously evolve the manufacturing and quality technology roadmap to support scalability, integration, operational excellence, and long-term business outcomes.
- Lead the identification, prioritization, and delivery of strategic technology initiatives in collaboration with business owners, value stream leaders, and IT delivery teams.
- Translate business requirements into investment strategies, implementation plans, and measurable value realization opportunities.
- Drive innovation through emerging technologies, automation, advanced analytics, and digital solutions while evaluating new capabilities through proof-of-concepts and business cases.
- Provide enterprise leadership across manufacturing and quality technology portfolios, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk management, and delivery excellence.
- Build strong relationships across global teams and operate effectively within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Lead change management efforts, fostering adoption of new technologies and improved processes across business functions.
- Support strategic initiatives, including cross-functional programs, large-scale investments, and potential mergers and acquisitions activities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced technology and business leader with a strong understanding of manufacturing, quality operations, and enterprise IT transformation. They should have the ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage complex initiatives, and deliver technology strategies that create measurable impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or a related technical field required.
- Advanced degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior management, technology leadership, or business transformation roles.
- Proven experience leading global projects, large-scale investments, and cross-functional teams in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and the ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop technology strategies, manage portfolios, and drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Experience leading organizational change and maintaining focus on strategic priorities.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and collaborate across business and IT functions.
- Experience working in global, regulated, or highly complex operational environments.
