Accountabilities:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications across both front-end and back-end systems using modern cloud technologies.
- Take ownership of complex software projects from design through deployment, ensuring quality, performance, and timely delivery.
- Build and enhance system functionality, including custom applications, modules, integrations, and enhancements based on business needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation covering architecture, design specifications, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines.
- Create and execute unit, integration, and system tests to ensure software reliability and performance.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, including production incidents and system performance challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Contribute to automation, monitoring, and system health improvements to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, including generative AI, and apply them to improve engineering outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, information systems, and network technologies.
- Experience supporting or building large-scale web applications or infrastructure environments.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, containers, serverless, CI/CD pipelines).
- Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Lean, or Design Thinking.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global team environments.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
