This role sits at the intersection of pharmaceutical commercial operations and enterprise technology, supporting critical applications that enable Market Access, pricing, and revenue management functions. The Sr. Analyst is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of key systems such as Model N (powered by Flex) and Anaplan within a regulated environment. The position acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, translating operational needs into effective technology solutions. It combines hands-on application support with project delivery, system enhancement oversight, and production support responsibilities. The role requires strong technical expertise, particularly in data integration and system optimization, as well as a solid understanding of pharmaceutical market access processes. Operating in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, the position ensures technology solutions remain aligned with business growth and compliance requirements.
Accountabilities- Partner with Market Access business stakeholders and IT teams to support and enhance Model N and Anaplan applications in line with operational needs.
- Manage end-to-end IT projects, including planning, design, execution, and delivery, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality expectations are met.
- Oversee application lifecycle activities, including enhancements, upgrades, issue resolution, and ongoing system optimization.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, stability, and user experience.
- Support integration and management of interfaces across Model N, ERP, EDI, B2B, and revenue accounting systems in a controlled environment.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for system issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, reporting, and service tracking aligned with governance and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with managed service providers and cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless delivery and operational continuity.
- Ensure execution of required compliance activities, including backups, disaster recovery testing, and security remediation.
- Provide input on technology enhancements, upgrades, and emerging tools to support business scalability and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience supporting commercial or market access applications in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Model N (powered by Flex) and Anaplan, including integrations and production support.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical market access, including commercial, Medicaid, and government pricing processes.
- Technical proficiency in SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Unix scripting, and reporting tools such as Cognos or Tableau.
- Experience managing system integrations across ERP, EDI, B2B, and revenue systems in regulated environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-support environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
