About the role

  • California Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) needed for the 2025-2026 school year

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (Required)

  • Active California SLP License or Credential (Required)

  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) – Preferred but not mandatory

  • 2+ Years of Experience in School-Based Settings – Confidently manage student caseloads and collaborate with educational teams

  • Familiarity with California Education Guidelines & Speech Services – Preferred for a smooth transition into the role

  • Strong Understanding of IEPs and Special Education Procedures

  • Demonstrated Experience Working with Children, ideally within school environments

  • Proficiency with Virtual Tools & Tele-practice Platforms – Ability to deliver services effectively in an online format

  • Bilingual Proficiency – Highly valued to support diverse student populations

  • Excellent Communication, Organization, and Collaboration Skills
  • Fingerprint Background Clearance – Required for school compliance and student safety

What you'll do


  • Serve a Pre-K–12th grade caseload with support from an in-house SLP liaison and an on-site paraprofessional/tele-helper.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, write evaluation reports, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Create and provide a consistent weekly therapy schedule, including individual and group sessions, based on student needs and availability.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and IEP teams to adjust service delivery, implement accommodations, and support generalization of skills.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal-setting, and document student progress.
  • Manage speech-only caseloads as needed, including responsibility for annual and triennial IEP coordination and paperwork.
  • Maintain all required documentation, including therapy logs, attendance records, and data tracking.
  • Ensure all services comply with California standards, both educational and legal for school-based speech therapy.
  • Caseloads may vary, with a full caseload defined as up to 55 students; reduced caseloads available based on preferred hours.
