The Space Management Coordinator effectively manages planograms for an assigned chain to maximize the positioning, facing and shelf presence of authorized products for our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with current shelving standards and that planogram expectations are met by creating, changing and maintaining shelf structure.
- Increase shelf space as necessary by analyzing movement data of all items in a assigned planogram.
- Achieve immediate new item placement on planograms to client standards to insure quick placement in the customers’ retail stores.
- Represents company at presentations for new accounts; develops a strong rapport with appropriate customer space management personnel.
- Is a "team player"; is honest and forthright with all parties; works well with peers; trains and develops subordinates; adheres in all respects to Code of Business Conduct.
Qualifications:
- Education and/or Experience: Associate’s degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3-4 years’ experience in merchandising to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have experience in resents and shelf management in store.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions, sales operations and procedures manuals, general business periodicals, HR regulations and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and associates. Adapting to the various forms of communication: verbal, non-verbal, written, visual, mass, group and individual.
- Mathematical Skills: Must know basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication to perform accurate calculations of budgets, net sales, margins, promotional percentages, discounts and commissions. Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts to sales velocity ratios, days of supply, and sales forecasting. and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability: Must possess critical thinking skills like analysis, evaluation and synthesis as well as abstract thinking, creative thinking, information processing and problem-solving. Ability to prioritize workload and set goals.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Working knowledge of computerized Space Management software required.
- Technology Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of the fundamentals of the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs including by not limited to: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of computerized Space Management software required.
- Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, analyze and interpret plan-o-grams for various categories at given accounts. Must have a valid driver's license and clean DMV report.

Salary Range: $44,000/ year
