Sourcing Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sourcing Specialist based in the United States.

This role plays a key part in strengthening the organization’s talent acquisition pipeline by proactively identifying and engaging high-quality candidates across multiple channels. You will support recruiters and hiring managers by sourcing talent through social media platforms, professional networks, and niche communities. The position requires a blend of research ability, communication skills, and curiosity to uncover both active and passive candidates. You will help build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, ensuring faster and more effective recruitment outcomes. This is a highly collaborative role where your outreach and relationship-building directly influence hiring success. You will also contribute to improving sourcing strategies and recruitment efficiency through data tracking and insights. The environment is fast-paced, remote, and focused on continuous hiring support across diverse roles.

• Proactively source and identify potential candidates using social media platforms, professional networks, and niche communities such as GitHub and Behance.
• Review resumes, online portfolios, and profiles to pre-screen talent against role requirements.
• Conduct outreach via email and messaging to engage candidates and maintain ongoing communication.
• Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role needs and sourcing priorities.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
• Leverage referral networks, past applicants, and industry connections to support hard-to-fill roles.
• Track, log, and maintain candidate data within applicant tracking systems and internal databases.

Requirements:

• Experience or familiarity with sourcing, recruiting, or talent acquisition processes in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of social networks, professional platforms, and online sourcing tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for professional outreach and email writing.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
• Ability to assess candidate profiles and align them with job requirements effectively.
• Comfortable working in a remote environment with autonomy and accountability.
• Analytical mindset with an interest in tracking sourcing metrics and improving recruitment efficiency.
