We help contractors and recyclers across North America discover, finance, and deploy the right machines to grow their businesses. We're especially focused on equipment solutions in environmental services, helping customers turn waste into value.
We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer with deep expertise in environmental waste processing, particularly in shredding systems and air burners, with expertise across multiple types of industrial processes. This role combines technical product knowledge with customer-facing sales support. You will work closely with our sales team and customers to ensure we recommend the most effective solutions for each unique waste challenge.
Subject-Matter Expertise & Enablement
Serve as the internal expert on shredding equipment, air burners, and related environmental machinery.
Train the sales team and develop materials on equipment applications, capabilities, and ROI.
Monitor regulatory, environmental, and technological trends in waste processing and recycling.
Sales Support & Pre-Sales Engineering
Collaborate with Account Executives on deal strategy and machine selection.
Analyze customer needs (materials, volumes, goals) to recommend the best equipment.
Join sales calls for technical support in solution design and addressing concerns.
Create tools like ROI calculators and configuration guides to improve sales efficiency.
Customer Interaction
Directly engage with customers to evaluate project viability, space, capacity, and long-term operations.
Convert customer needs into precise equipment specifications and clearly communicate with manufacturers and technical partners.
Assist with the transition to post-sales implementation or service as necessary.
5+ years specifically in environmental equipment, recycling sales and support.
In-depth knowledge of shredding systems, air burners, and waste reduction for wood, plastic, and C&D materials.
Strong business sense and ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical buyers.
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment requiring teamwork.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; must have experience with customer calls and sales support.
Engineering degree or similar technical background is a plus.
Experience with international equipment manufacturers and sourcing.
Hands-on experience with machine operation or field work.
Knowledge of permitting, emissions rules, or waste sustainability.
