The Opportunity
The Public Sector Solutions Architect is a key technical leader on the Revenue team, working directly with customers to deliver cutting-edge security solutions. You’ll drive impactful demonstrations, prototypes, and client presentations while leading the implementation and customization of solutions to meet unique customer needs.
A core focus of this role is AQtive Guard, a powerful cryptographic management platform that helps organizations gain visibility into their cryptographic assets, identify vulnerabilities, and future-proof their security. You'll play a crucial role in integrating AQtive Guard, guiding customers through cryptographic risk management, and ensuring compliance with evolving security standards. If you're passionate about cybersecurity, enjoy solving complex challenges, and want to be at the forefront of cryptographic innovation, this role is for you. Occasional onsite travel may be required to collaborate with customer teams and oversee successful deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Technical Discovery & Demos: Conduct deep-dive technical discovery sessions to understand customer network constraints and pain points, and deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations that address specific mission needs.
Orchestrate Proof of Value (PoV): Own the technical scoping, setup, and execution of PoVs; you will stand up instances, guide customers through testing, and rigorously evaluate results against success criteria to secure the technical win.
Navigate Government Compliance: Apply your understanding of federal operational constraints (such as FedRAMP compliance and secure network architectures) to ensure our solutions are deployed effectively within restricted environments.
Champion Product Evolution: Act as the technical voice of the customer, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams to relay feedback from the field and influence the roadmap for public sector needs.
Drive Autonomous Impact: Manage your accounts with a high degree of ownership, proactively identifying issues, managing up, and driving opportunities independently.
Essential Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience in enterprise technical sales or solutions architecture, with a focus on security, networking, or infrastructure.
Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance is strictly required for this role.
Federal Domain Expertise: Demonstrated success selling to or working with U.S. Federal Government verticals (DoD, IC, Civilian) with a deep understanding of federal compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, RMF).
Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with enterprise cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of modern security landscapes, including endpoint, network, and application security, as well as public key infrastructure (PKI) and encryption.
Highly Desired Skills & Experience
Deep Sector Expertise: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a strong preference for direct security or IT operations experience within the DoD, Intelligence Community, or civilian agencies.
Strategic Implementation: Proven background in consulting or professional services, specifically in architecting security strategies for large enterprise customers across both cloud and on-premise environments.
Commercial Execution: Demonstrated ability to define complex customer requirements and translate them into technical assets, including detailed proposals and solution briefs.
Adaptive Ownership: High comfort level with ambiguity and "ill-defined" activities, utilizing strong communication skills to lead across organizations and create clarity in a high-growth startup environment.
Collaborative Definition: Experience partnering directly with sales teams and external partners to jointly define and scope technical solutions.
We are committed to fostering a culture of belonging and respect, where diverse perspectives are actively sought and valued. Our multidisciplinary environment provides ample opportunity for continuous growth - working alongside humble, empowered, and ambitious colleagues ready to tackle epic challenges.
Equal Employment Opportunity: All qualified applicants will receive consideration regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status.
Accommodations: We provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities in job application procedures for open roles. If you need such an accommodation, please let a member of our Recruiting team know.
