Feldera is redefining how engineers compute over changing data. Powered by an award-winning breakthrough in database theory, our platform incrementally maintains even the most complex SQL views as data changes, even when pipelines have hundreds of joins, aggregates, unions, and even recursion. The result? Real-time insights over both live and historical data, with 10x lower cost and 100x faster time-to-value.
This isn't faster batch compute. It’s a fundamentally new model of computation.
We’re now growing the team that brings this breakthrough to production for our customers.
In this role, you’ll focus on our secure, scalable, production-grade self-hosted platform; one that customers deploy on their own infrastructure, from laptops to multi-node clusters.
We’re looking for a Solution Engineer to be the technical face of Feldera across the entire customer journey. From proof of concepts, day 1 onboarding, through to day 2 deployments, operations, and scale, you’ll work directly with enterprise engineering teams to make Feldera successful in production.
This is a customer-obsessed role. You’ll combine deep technical expertise with strong communication skills: helping customers model real workloads, debugging tough issues in production, and translating their needs back into our product and engineering roadmap.
Partner with the founders and GTM team to drive technical discovery, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
Help enterprise customers design and validate workloads in Feldera from concept to production.
Serve as a technical point of contact post-sale, guiding deployments, upgrades, and operations.
Debug complex distributed systems issues across pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud services.
Work across the broader data ecosystem: connectors, Spark, Delta Lake, Kubernetes, observability stacks, and cloud infra.
Communicate customer needs clearly to our engineering team, and when possible, contribute fixes yourself.
Improve our technical documentation, runbooks, and processes based on real-world learnings.
5+ years experience in solution architect, customer engineering or solution engineering roles.
Strong background in distributed systems, databases, cloud infrastructure, and modern data platforms.
Experience with data-intensive systems in production (e.g., Kafka, Delta Lake, Iceberg, Kubernetes, monitoring/observability stacks).
Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills, especially in customer-facing contexts.
Excellent communication skills, both for customer-facing and internal interactions.
Ability to write and maintain high-quality technical docs and playbooks.
