Overview

The Solution Configuration Consultant is a member of the Implementations Team, reporting to the Manager, Implementations. The Implementations team is a customer-facing team responsible for implementing and supporting CodaMetrix solutions with the goal of improving the medical coding, registration and billing efficiency at customer sites.

The Solution Configuration Consultant is a product configuration expert responsible for translating customer requirements into optimized system configurations. his role ensures CodaMetrix solutions are properly configured to deliver maximum value while maintaining implementation velocity and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Solution Configuration

  • Analyze customer data and requirements to determine and execute optimal CMX configurations using best practices

  • Partner with internal teams (Coding, DevOps, Integration, Data Analysts, ML, Product, Engineering) to translate customer requirements into detailed technical specifications

  • Design, test, and validate customer rules and configurations within the application

  • Conduct thorough testing of configurations and parallel testing of onboarding and production environments

  • Lead data quality workshops and document comprehensive customer data quality sign-off reports

  • Manage environment cutover activities ensuring all teams understand and execute go-live actions

Customer Enablement

  • Facilitate Coding & Billing Discovery workshops with complete ownership of the Billing portion

  • Create detailed documentation of customer-specific configurations, rules, and testing

  • Provide best practice guidance and adoption support throughout implementation

  • Build strong customer relationships through effective engagement during calls and interactions

Knowledge Management

  • Complete configuration templates for each implementation and document non-standard configurations

  • Log all decisions in Project Management decision log and maintain project Jira tickets

  • Contribute to process improvement efforts and team knowledge base

  • Communicate customer feedback and configuration challenges to Product Management

Requirements

Required

  • 3+ years experience as an Analyst within revenue cycle

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional years of experience

  • Deep knowledge of product capabilities and configuration options (or ability to quickly develop this expertise)

  • Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle workflows and terminology

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong internal communication skills to efficiently align stakeholders around customer needs

  • Extremely detail-oriented with commitment to excellence and precision

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple concurrent projects

  • Proficient in Excel

Preferred

  • Knowledge of medical coding and healthcare billing/revenue cycle practices

  • Startup experience in a healthtech environment

  • Experience reading HL7 interface messages

  • Advanced Excel skills
