The primary focus of this role will be developing robust platforms and services to manage enterprise security at Wiz. We are seeking candidates with experience in secure development practices, endpoint security, identity and access management (IAM), detection & response, and vulnerability management. In this role, you will be writing code and building scalable automated systems to help secure Wiz employees and corporate systems as we expand and grow.WHAT YOU’LL DO<ul><li>Drive Security Innovation: Design, write code, and deploy technologies that we use for corporate security functions, including detection & response workflows, vulnerability management, access control, or other functions using a mix of commercial products, open-source tooling, and in-house scripts and tools.</li><li>Work to efficiently automate processes at scale to streamline security engineering and operations tasks.</li><li>Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with teams including Product Security, IT, Software Engineering, and DevOps.</li><li>Influence Wiz's internal security strategy, develop & execute security initiatives to meet our objectives, and define the criteria & measurements that we use to assess our progress.</li><li>Work with cross-functional teams to respond to security incidents when the need arises, be it an escalated security event or remediating a critical vulnerability.</li></ul>WHAT YOU’LL BRING<ul><li>6+ years of experience in software engineering, security engineering, and/or security operations work, with a strong focus on a combination of the below:</li><li>Required: Python programming, cloud computing (e.g. AWS, GCP), version control (e.g. git), CICD, Docker, Terraform, AI assisted coding, debugging, and unit testing.</li><li>Most of the following: SIEM & SOAR technologies, API integrations, IAM, Endpoint and mobile security, OAuth, and Vulnerability Management.<ul><li>Bonus: Temporal, Javascript/React, MongoDB, Kubernetes, and Okta.</li></ul></li><li>Security engineering and operations experience, including developing software to automate processes and integrate security technologies.</li><li>Experience securing key enterprise systems, including email & communications, employee endpoints, developer tools, customer relationship management, and back-office functions.</li><li>Experience with modern execution platforms and orchestration tools.</li><li>Strong, demonstrated abilities in problem-solving, critical thinking, and maintaining a positive, collaborative approach.</li><li>Experience working with remote, globally distributed teams.</li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Equivalent job experience is welcome in place of a degree.
