One of our companies is currently looking for a Software Quality Engineer in the United States.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by performing thorough testing of browser-based applications and desktop clients. You will work closely with development teams to develop and execute manual and automated tests, identify and resolve defects, and enhance overall QA processes. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of the software development lifecycle and product delivery.
Accountabilities:
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts based on business requirements and technical designs.
- Perform manual tests for functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing to ensure software quality.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar, and integrate them into Azure DevOps for continuous testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with developers to debug and resolve issues.
- Conduct performance and security testing to ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance with security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and UX/UI designers, to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring best practices are followed.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, and a strong understanding of Angular frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, and Visual Studio.
- Familiarity with the WPF UI Framework and experience with desktop client testing.
- Experience in test automation using tools like Selenium and Cypress.
- Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including manual and automated test design and execution.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman.
- Proficiency in Git version control systems and CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
