Software Quality Assurance Engineer/Associate

The Software Quality Engineer at Clubessential plays a crucial role in shaping our products. Working closely with the product development team and software engineers, the QA Engineer addresses current product bugs, tests new features, and participates in product planning and scoping. This role ensures our products and services keep our customers connected, engaged, and #members4life.

Responsibilities: 

• Design functional and non-functional test cases that verify requirements and validate functionality. 

• Apply Quality Assurance principles. Identify, track, and document defects while ensuring alignment with business needs. 

• Collaborate with the development team to improve the quality of the deliverables and ensure the business needs are met. 

• Analyze user stories, define acceptance criteria, and enhance product quality. 

• Expand automated test libraries and integrate with CI/CD pipelines. 

• Stay updated on QA methodologies and testing frameworks. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or 2 years of equivalent experience. 

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills. 

• Analytical problem-solving skills. 

• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to learn. 

• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes. 

• Knowledge of Acceptance and Agile Testing principles. 

• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum). 

• Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, or CI tools. 

• Understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies. 

• Experience with manual/automated testing, test management tools, and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress). 

• API testing knowledge (Postman, REST Assured) 

• Version control experience (Git). 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Prior software testing/QA experience or internships. 
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps testing. 
• Programming experience in Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
