Position Summary

PrePass is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead and inspire a team of Software and QA Engineers in delivering robust, scalable solutions for enterprise systems integration. You will leverage your engineering expertise and leadership skills to foster a collaborative, high-performing culture while driving technical excellence. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in developing best-in-class enterprise solutions integral to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor software and QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular one-on-one meetings, and support career development for team members.

• Integration Architecture and Strategy: Develop and maintain an integration strategy that aligns with business objectives and technology roadmaps. Design scalable, secure, and resilient integration solutions while collaborating with stakeholders to define use cases, requirements, and success metrics.

• Technical Execution: Oversee the delivery of integration projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Leverage APIs, middleware, and integration platforms to enable seamless connectivity between enterprise applications. Ensure the application of best practices in coding standards, system design, and architecture.

• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and business leaders, to align priorities and deliver value. Partner with DevOps teams to automate and monitor integration pipelines for reliability and performance.

• Governance and Compliance: Ensure integration solutions comply with enterprise security and data governance standards. Monitor and address system performance, scalability, and reliability while maintaining thorough documentation of designs, processes, and configurations.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in enterprise system integration. Drive process improvements and innovations to enhance team productivity and integration delivery.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role. Proven expertise in enterprise system integration, including hands-on experience with platforms such as Azure Integration Services, ERP systems, and CRM systems.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and object-oriented programming. Expertise in API development, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures. Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP, with a preference for Azure. Experience with middleware tools and message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Leadership Skills: Strong track record of building and managing high-performing engineering teams. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset. Effective communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
