As our Software Engineering Lead, you will play a key role in helping us reach our goal of continuous improvement in the efficacy and efficiency of our processes and resulting high product quality. Every day, you will be involved in the entire software development process to ensure the scalability and maintainability of the released product. To thrive in this role, you must demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, commitment to best practices, and the ability to meet demanding objectives and challenging milestones.

Here’s what you will experience working as a Software Engineering Lead:

  • Act as the technical lead on projects, contributing hands-on to front-end development using Angular and RESTful APIs for a major Healthcare Scheduling and Order system.
  • Guide Agile delivery by facilitating Scrum ceremonies and promoting best practices across the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering efforts with business goals and contribute to strategic initiatives.
  • Make architectural recommendations, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Explore and apply emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance development processes and product innovation.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in software development, including team mentorship and performance management.
  • Strong background in web development with expertise in Angular, REST APIs, and object-oriented programming (e.g., C#, Python, or C++).
  • Proven ability to lead Agile teams, manage delivery cycles, and solve complex technical challenges under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of aligning engineering efforts with business goals.

While it is not required, it is another advantage if you also have: 

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and DevOps tools and practices.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, including AI in software development, with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.

Candidates located near one of our talent hubs—San Francisco, New York, Austin, or Chicago—will be scheduled to meet with team members in those locations. For candidates residing outside these areas, we will arrange travel to a hub for the interview. Travel accommodations will be provided as needed. For this US-based position, the base pay range is $97,211.43 - $161,880.71 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
