We’re seeking a passionate Software Engineering Intern to join our tech team. In this hands-on role, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to the development of impactful software solutions in energy management, data analysis, and optimization. You’ll gain valuable real-world experience while helping to build systems that power the future of clean energy.

This is a paid internship, with compensation ranging from $18 to $30 per hour, based on experience and availability.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of software solutions for energy management and optimization.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, code, test, and deploy applications in a dynamic environment.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from ideation to testing and deployment.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for our web and mobile applications.
  • Support bug fixes, code reviews, and performance optimization tasks.
  • Contribute to brainstorming and problem-solving sessions to improve product functionality and efficiency.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements.
  • Work in an agile environment with frequent sprint cycles and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • A student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Foundation in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) or back-end development (Node.js, Django, Flask).
  • Understanding of databases (SQL, MongoDB) and version control systems (Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
