This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer in the United States.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that support existing core services and expand web capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development and testing, to ensure reliable, maintainable, and well-tested software. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, contribute to technical decisions, and help drive the evolution of modern software solutions. You will participate in code and design reviews, mentor team members, and continually seek ways to improve processes and deliverables. Accountabilities:

  • Design and implement software solutions that are maintainable, tested, and of high quality.
  • Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure consistent, reliable software delivery.
  • Participate in peer design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the areas of the product you work on.
  • Mentor and support the technical and professional growth of team members.
  • Promote efficiency, maintainability, and quality improvements in software development processes.
  • Build and maintain cohesive, collaborative relationships with team members and other departments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience; 5+ years preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
  • Proficiency in Java and experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, WCF, or ASP.NET Web API.
  • Familiarity with relational database systems and agile software development principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to synthesize multiple perspectives.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Passion for coding, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment.
