  • Maintain and refactor code to reduce technical debt while ensuring high standards of code quality.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, incident response, and root cause analyses (RCAs) for production issues.
  • Write automated unit and integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and team members to influence platform decisions and deliver on sprint commitments.
  • Document projects, troubleshoot issues, and rapidly learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and operating web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably React, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with scalable backend systems or Backend-for-Frontends.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, GraphQL, and modern automated testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Buildkite or Jenkins.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a SCRUM team.
  • Clear and effective communication skills for collaboration in a remote work environment.
  • Desired: Experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms, Playwright or Cypress for testing, and building effective cross-location working relationships.

Benefits

  • 💰 Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses and potential equity participation.
  • 🌴 Generous paid time-off and parental leave policies.
  • 🏥 Comprehensive healthcare, dental, and vision plans for employees and dependents.
  • 💻 Support for remote work, including necessary equipment and tools.
  • 📈 Retirement savings plans (e.g., 401k) with company matching.
  • 🌐 Opportunity to work in a globally distributed, inclusive, and collaborative team environment.
