This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer III - Full Stack in the United States.

The Software Engineer III - Full Stack will design, develop, and maintain web-based and cloud-native applications that enhance business operations and user experiences. This role requires hands-on development expertise across frontend and backend technologies, AWS cloud services, and data management systems. You will collaborate with product owners, IT support teams, and stakeholders to implement scalable solutions, automate workflows, and integrate APIs while ensuring secure, high-performing, and reliable software. The position also involves mentoring junior engineers, leading technical discussions, and applying best practices for software design, testing, and deployment within an agile framework. This is an impactful role for someone passionate about building innovative solutions in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Accountabilities

·         Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native and web-based applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and toolsets.

·         Lead the creation of functional and design specifications, unit tests, and user documentation.

·         Collaborate with software architects and leadership to define system modules, data layouts, and coding standards.

·         Ensure deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization of applications in AWS environments using Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, and DynamoDB.

·         Develop and integrate REST-based APIs, SOA architectures, and secure data solutions.

·         Mentor junior engineers, provide guidance on best practices, and lead design or technical review meetings.

·         Apply agile methodologies, act as Scrum Master when needed, and support cross-functional collaboration.

·         Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and research to implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

·         5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.

·         Strong expertise in AWS cloud-native technologies, including Lambda (Python), API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, and DynamoDB.

·         Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React and client-side technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).

·         Experience with relational databases (SQL Server), data analytics (Athena), and data visualization (QuickSight).

·         Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, DevOps processes, and test-driven development (TDD).

·         Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance applications, including EDI and HIPAA-compliant interfaces.

·         Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a focus on mentoring and leading technical discussions.

·         Experience in healthcare or insurance software solutions preferred.
