Software Engineer (Frontend) (Remote - US)

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will design and build user-facing features that enhance the experience of a diverse, global audience. You will work in an agile, collaborative environment alongside product managers, UX designers, and cross-functional engineers to develop accessible, responsive, and performant web applications. Your contributions will directly impact how users engage with digital learning products, while fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team. Accountabilities

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and cross-functional team members to plan, implement, and maintain user-facing features.
• Develop frontend components using React, semantic HTML, and modern CSS, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, share knowledge, and support team growth.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues in collaboration with QA and Operations teams.
• Contribute to agile development practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Write and maintain automated frontend tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions.
• Promote best practices in code structure, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building modern web applications.
• Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte.
• Strong skills in semantic HTML and modern CSS, with attention to accessibility standards.
• Experience using modern development tooling and command-line interfaces (git, npm, etc.).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, and React Testing Library.
• Comfortable working in a distributed, agile team across multiple time zones.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn AI-assisted coding tools and new technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to quickly grasp new concepts.

Preferred:

• Experience using AI prompting for coding tools and automation.
