We are looking for an experienced UX/UI Engineer to drive further development of our customer-facing React application. Candidates must have deep expertise in React and cloud-based event-driven architectures. As part of a small cross-functional team, you will also be driving some UX design, so a portfolio that demonstrates your comprehensive approach to UI development would best represent your fit.

Our overall platform is Python-centric, so you must be very comfortable interacting with cross-language components and services and a plethora of AI technologies including LLM prompt engineering, vector databases, and frameworks for processing unstructured data. Familiarity with auth/azn approaches and design practices that protect data privacy are strong positives. Experience at a successful startup is highly desirable.

Please note: This position is on-site in New York, with some flexibility.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science

• Solid understanding of CS fundamentals including algorithms and data structures

• Deep experience with modern Typescript-based web application development

• Experience with data processing (big data, event streams, relational databases, etc.)

• 5+ years of work experience in startups, fintechs or larger tech companies
