• Accountabilities:
• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, automated testing, and operational support.
• Develop new features and maintain existing software, ensuring robust functionality and scalability.
• Collaborate with the team to deploy product updates and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and best practices to enhance team productivity.
• Support front-end development using modern frameworks such as React, and back-end integration with Node.js, Python, and cloud services.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing, mentoring, and peer collaboration to strengthen team capabilities.
• Ensure code quality through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS preferred: EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway).
• Skilled in front-end and back-end development (React, Node.js, JavaScript, Python).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle practices.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities for large-scale distributed systems.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
• Desired: experience with geospatial/GIS data formats (GeoJSON, KML, ArcGIS, QGIS), Elasticsearch, machine learning/AI concepts, monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus), or presenting technical knowledge in conferences.
