Software Engineer (AI Platform)

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation conversational AI systems that power automated, human-like interactions across email, SMS, and chat. You will help build and scale backend services that support AI-driven customer engagement and lead qualification in real production environments. Working within a collaborative engineering team, you will design APIs, improve system performance, and contribute to cloud-based infrastructure that supports large-scale AI applications. The position is ideal for engineers who enjoy backend development and are eager to work hands-on with modern AI technologies, including large language models. You will gain exposure to distributed systems, data pipelines, and scalable architectures while working closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists. Accountabilities:

Develop and enhance backend services that power conversational AI capabilities across multiple communication channels
Design, build, and maintain APIs and integrations with internal systems and external data sources
Contribute to the development and deployment of scalable cloud infrastructure and data pipelines
Work with modern AI technologies and large language models (LLMs) in production environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and data scientists to deliver new features
Support system reliability, performance optimization, and monitoring initiatives
Participate in improving backend architecture and ensuring scalability of distributed systems
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and code quality standards

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience in Python or another backend programming language
Familiarity with backend development, APIs, or distributed systems
Strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or intelligent systems
Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive learning mindset
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented engineering environment
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or similar is a plus
Internship, academic, or project experience in backend systems or AI-related development is a plus
Experience working with data pipelines, APIs, or distributed architectures is advantageous
