As a Senior Software Engineer at OpenBorder, you’ll lead key projects and shape the systems that support global shipping, tax compliance, and merchant services. You’ll take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, mentor other engineers, and influence technical direction across the stack.
What You’ll Do
- Build and ship full product features with minimal support
- Contribute to technical design of scalable systems
- Write tested, documented code across backend and frontend services
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate across the team
- Work in our stack: Java, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, Next.js, Nest.js, AWS, GCP
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience delivering features in a production environment
- Strong fundamentals in software development
- Familiarity with both backend and frontend systems
- Emphasis on testing, documentation, and clean code
