We are looking for a Software Engineer with a solid foundation in web development and a keen willingness to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of professional experience, demonstrate proficiency in PHP and related web technologies, and be eager to contribute to the full software development lifecycle while collaborating in a supportive team environment.This role is hybrid remote. Our Raleigh office is located at 507 W. North Street. Raleigh, NC 27603. <hr class="" data-start="1323" data-end="1326"><h3 class="" data-start="1328" data-end="1348">RESPONSIBILITIES</h3><ul data-start="1350" data-end="2307"><li class="" data-start="1350" data-end="1486">Develop and Maintain: Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications using Laravel and PHP.</li><li class="" data-start="1487" data-end="1705">Collaborative Development: Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams during all phases of the software development life cycle including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and deployment.</li><li class="" data-start="1706" data-end="1856">Quality Assurance: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews and implement feedback to enhance code quality.</li><li class="" data-start="1857" data-end="1986">Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working together with team members to deliver timely solutions.</li><li class="" data-start="1987" data-end="2162">Continuous Learning: Engage in learning opportunities including mentoring sessions, peer programming, and relevant training to enhance technical and professional skills.</li><li class="" data-start="2163" data-end="2307">Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for features and technical processes to ensure smooth knowledge transfer within the team.</li></ul><hr class="" data-start="2309" data-end="2312"><h3 class="" data-start="2314" data-end="2336">SKILLS & STRENGTHS</h3><ul data-start="2338" data-end="3002"><li class="" data-start="2338" data-end="2447">Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with PHP, Laravel, and basic principles of object-oriented programming.</li><li class="" data-start="2448" data-end="2582">Web Technologies: Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; exposure to modern frontend libraries or frameworks is a plus.</li><li class="" data-start="2583" data-end="2675">Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn and troubleshoot.</li><li class="" data-start="2676" data-end="2802">Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, agile environment.</li><li class="" data-start="2803" data-end="2905">Adaptability: Eagerness to adopt new tools, technologies, and practices in a fast-paced setting.</li><li class="" data-start="2906" data-end="3002">Time Management: Ability to manage tasks effectively, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.</li></ul><hr class="" data-start="3004" data-end="3007"><h3 class="" data-start="3009" data-end="3035">EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION</h3><ul data-start="3037" data-end="3534"><li class="" data-start="3037" data-end="3150">Experience: 0-2 years of experience working on a software development team or through internships/projects.</li><li class="" data-start="3151" data-end="3301">Preferred Education: Experience gained through a software engineering program, such as a Bachelor's in Computer Science or an equivalent track.</li><li class="" data-start="3302" data-end="3534">Desirable Experience:<ul data-start="3333" data-end="3534"><li class="" data-start="3333" data-end="3396">Exposure to Laravel and PHP in academic or personal projects.</li><li class="" data-start="3399" data-end="3453">Familiarity with TailwindCSS and AlpineJS is a plus.</li><li class="" data-start="3456" data-end="3534">Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.</li></ul></li></ul><hr class="" data-start="3536" data-end="3539"><h3 class="" data-start="3541" data-end="3557">COMPENSATION</h3>Competitive salary based on skill level and experience, with opportunities for professional growth, learning, and advancement within the company.
