Software Development Engineer V

This role is a senior, technical leadership position for an experienced software engineer with a strong background in scalable backend systems, microservices, and AI-enabled workflows. You will lead the development of agentic content management systems, orchestrating autonomous processes and integrating advanced AI/ML features into both backend services and front-end interfaces. The position offers the opportunity to shape complex software architectures, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to high-impact projects that improve efficiency and drive innovation. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend APIs, microservices, and orchestration layers for autonomous systems.
• Implement agentic workflows, enabling intelligent decision-making with minimal human intervention.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces using React to support human-in-the-loop content management.
• Integrate generative AI features into workflows for automated suggestions, updates, and decision explanations.
• Lead complex projects, providing architectural guidance and hands-on implementation.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and adherence to best practices.
• Ensure system reliability, observability, and security across distributed, cloud-based services.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience building production-grade backend systems and APIs.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET for backend development.
• Experience with React for front-end development and interactive interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI and autonomous or agentic workflows.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying, monitoring, and scaling applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and data storage systems (Postgres).
• Understanding of secure software development practices and operational excellence principles.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers and driving technical execution.
