This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of NT Concepts. We are currently looking for a Software Developer in Virginia (USA).

This role provides the opportunity to work on cutting-edge software projects that directly support national security initiatives. You will collaborate with agile, mission-focused teams to design, implement, and maintain software solutions that advance advanced computer vision and data science capabilities. The position combines hands-on development, research, and problem-solving with a focus on scalability, robustness, and interoperability. You will contribute to projects that protect critical systems from adversarial AI attacks, using modern tech stacks and best practices. This role emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and delivering impactful solutions in a fast-paced environment, while offering flexibility to work remotely.

Accountabilities

As a Software Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain software systems with guidance from senior team members.
  • Write, test, debug, and document code to meet project requirements and quality standards.
  • Ensure software compliance with design, testing, integration, and sustainment standards.
  • Research new technologies and provide recommendations to solve complex problems.
  • Develop solutions that are scalable, maintainable, robust, and interoperable.
  • Create, adopt, and promote development best practices across the team.
  • Participate in code reviews, collaborate with teammates, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support agile workflows and participate in SCRUM ceremonies to deliver on project goals.

Requirements

Candidates should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Python or other programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, GoLang).
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks, preferably PyTorch.
  • Proficiency in API design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with Git version control, Linux environments, and agile workflows.
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (AWS preferred).
  • Knowledge of microservices design, container-based applications (Docker, OpenShift), and Kubernetes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Desired Skills:

  • Exposure to Ops practices (DataOps/DevSecOps/MLOps) and automated-first development pipelines.
  • Experience contributing to mission-driven projects in fast-paced environments.
