Join Our Team as a Social Media & Online Community Assistant!

Nina Ross Functional Medicine is seeking a dedicated and creative Social Media & Online Community Assistant to strengthen our brand presence and enhance our online engagement.

We serve a community of high-achieving Black women (85% of our audience) who are winning in life and business.

We need someone who "gets it." You know how to talk to a woman who is making power moves—you know the slang, the sophistication, and the tone that creates a genuine sisterhood.

You’re the hype-person in the comments and the wizard behind the scenes making sure the content looks premium.

About the Role

We are looking for a digital "Swiss Army Knife" to join our team. We don't just want an assistant; we want a partner who is ready to build something amazing with us.

1. Being the "Voice"

  • Engagement is Queen: You aren’t just replying to comments; you are starting conversations. You’ll be answering DMs and comments every day with warmth and personality.
  • Community Building: You’ll hop on other pages to network and bring new eyes to our brand.
  • Reading the Room: You know what topics are hot and what our audience cares about right now.

2. Creating Magic with AI & Canva

  • Content Creation: You can whip up a gorgeous, clean, high-end graphic in Canva in your sleep.
  • Work Smarter: You love using AI (ChatGPT, Nano Banana, etc.) to create content, brainstorm hooks and draft captions.

3. Keeping the Ship Moving

  • YouTube & Email: You’ll handle the upload process for YouTube and format our emails so they look great.
  • The "Go-Getter": Whether it’s researching a new trend or fixing a broken link, you’re on it before we even notice it’s an issue.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing social media accounts, preferably for health or wellness brands.
  • Understanding of social media trends, tools, best practices, and analytics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creative storytelling.
  • Proficiency in using design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) for creating visual content.
  • Experience with community engagement and management strategies.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and empowering individuals through knowledge and support.
