Accountabilities:

Lead and execute the social media strategy across platforms including X, Instagram, TikTok, Discord, and Reddit
Oversee day-to-day content publishing, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand voice
Manage and mentor a team delivering real-time, newsroom-style coverage of global women’s soccer
Identify, curate, and optimize social-first content derived from podcasts, video, and live events
Collaborate with production, marketing, and creative teams to develop innovative campaigns and storytelling formats
Monitor platform trends, algorithm updates, and audience behaviors to continuously refine strategies
Analyze performance metrics and conduct A/B testing to improve engagement, reach, and growth
Support promotional initiatives, including merchandise, ticketing, and brand campaigns through social channels

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in social media management, ideally within sports, media, or a fast-paced content environment
2+ years of experience leading and managing teams
Proven success in developing and executing strategies that drive audience growth and engagement
Strong analytical skills with experience using social media insights and performance tools
Deep knowledge and passion for global soccer, particularly the women’s game
Ability to operate in a fast-moving, real-time content environment with flexibility around major events
Strong understanding of platform-specific content strategies and evolving social media algorithms
Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills
Creative mindset with the ability to translate cultural and sports moments into engaging digital content
