This position reports into the Director of Social at G-P., on the Communications and Events team. We are looking for an adaptable, creative, growth minded team player who is comfortable working with others, as well as independently. The social team is responsible for organic social by raising awareness for our brand message. The team is also responsible for influencing paid social, by making sure that the content supports our overall business goals and works in harmony with organic. 

What you’ll do:

  • Plan and oversee the creation of engaging and relevant content, including posts, stories, videos, graphics, thought leadership and ads.
  • Develop and manage a social media content calendar to ensure consistent posting and timely campaigns.
  • Lead the development and execution of organic social content and publishing strategy with a channel by channel strategy.
  • Constantly optimize content —potential to attend events when necessary to capture content and post real-time event coverage.
  • Work closely with creative, Partner, paid, and other marketing teams to align social media with overall brand goals. Represent social media in key cross-functional meetings.
  • Analyze social media performance data and use insights to inform future content optimization.
  • Identify relevant and significant ways for G-P to participate in culture and tech conversations.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and incorporate best practices into campaigns.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience building and executing social media strategies 
  • Highly motivated, creative social media junkie who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building a brand presence on social media
  • Experience understanding data and insights to drive learnings
  • Aptitude for being flexible and problem-solving on the fly
  • You like to think big picture but are also comfortable rolling up your sleeves and executing
  • Experience with Emplifi, Canva, and Airtable a bonus!

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $76,800 - $96,000 plus variable compensation.
