This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Shipyard AI Business Analyst in United States.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the adoption of AI-powered capacity planning solutions in the shipbuilding industry. You will work closely with shipyard teams to collect and analyze operational data, support software deployment, and ensure successful implementation of AI-driven tools that optimize planning and scheduling. Operating in a collaborative, remote-first environment, you will contribute to solution design, customer training, and business process improvement while providing actionable insights to enhance product development. The role requires both technical and operational understanding of shipyard processes, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions. You will have the chance to influence real-world outcomes in shipbuilding operations, supporting teams in achieving measurable efficiency and productivity gains. Travel will be required as needed to support deployments and on-site engagements.


Accountabilities:
  • Assist with onsite data collection and implementation of AI capacity planning solutions for shipyards.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key shipyard personnel to ensure project success.
  • Support the creation of requirements documentation, specifications, and business cases.
  • Contribute to solution design, deployment efforts, and proposal development.
  • Assist with customer presentations, sales demos, and training on deployed solutions.
  • Provide feedback to inform product development and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvements in shipyard operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or 10+ years of equivalent shipbuilding experience focused on capacity planning and scheduling.
  • Experience with project planning, engineering, or operations in shipbuilding, naval, or other manufacturing environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering impactful, high-quality solutions.
  • Knowledge of business and technical requirements analysis, process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with system implementation lifecycle approaches, preferably Scrum or similar methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support deployments and on-site engagements.
