Senior Workflow Automation Engineer

The Senior Workflow Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions that improve organizational efficiency and system reliability. This role serves as a technical leader for workflow optimization, connecting business tools and transforming manual processes into scalable automated solutions.

• Design, build, and optimize end-to-end automated workflows across core business platforms using Workato and/or similar iPaaS automation tools.
• Partner with business and product stakeholders to identify operational challenges and convert manual processes into efficient automated workflows.
• Analyze existing administrative processes to uncover automation opportunities and improve productivity.
• Develop and maintain integrations between SaaS platforms, ensuring accurate data movement and reliable system connectivity.
• Manage API connections, monitor automation performance, and implement proactive error handling to maintain workflow reliability.
• Create scalable automation solutions that support organizational growth and operational consistency.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term improvements.
• Ensure integrations follow best practices for security, maintainability, and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with remote teams using modern productivity and project management tools to deliver automation initiatives.
• Act as a change agent by promoting automation adoption and improving digital workflows across the organization.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines strong workflow automation experience with technical knowledge of APIs, SaaS integrations, and process optimization. They should be comfortable working independently, solving complex operational challenges, and collaborating with distributed teams.

• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex workflow automations using Workato, Zapier, or similar iPaaS platforms.
• Strong understanding of SaaS integrations, REST APIs, webhooks, JSON structures, and data mapping concepts.
• Ability to analyze complex manual processes and transform them into efficient, logical automated workflows.
• Experience managing integrations between business applications and enterprise platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently manage projects and deliver solutions in a remote-first environment.
• Comfortable collaborating through tools such as Jira and Google Workspace.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
