This role sits at the intersection of advanced warehouse management technology and complex supply chain operations, focusing on the implementation and optimization of Manhattan Associates SCALE WMS. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable system configurations that improve warehouse performance and operational efficiency. The position involves end-to-end ownership of implementation activities, from design and configuration through testing, deployment, and ongoing support. You will act as a trusted functional and technical expert across inbound, outbound, inventory, and automation workflows. Operating in a collaborative, globally distributed environment, you will help shape high-impact logistics solutions for enterprise clients. This is a hands-on consulting role where precision, problem-solving, and system expertise directly influence client success and supply chain transformation.
AccountabilitiesIn this role, you will lead the delivery and optimization of SCALE WMS implementations across complex warehouse environments:
- Lead configuration, deployment, and support of Manhattan Associates SCALE WMS across multiple client implementations, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and timelines.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical designs, including system configuration, workflows, and integration specifications.
- Collaborate with client teams and vendors to define requirements, resolve system issues, and manage enhancements across WMS, TMS, and automation ecosystems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user requirements, SOPs, functional and technical specifications, and test cases.
- Support system testing activities including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure production readiness.
- Troubleshoot technical and operational issues across WMS modules and integrated systems, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Coordinate with development, support, and third-party partners to resolve issues and optimize system functionality.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse efficiency, automation, and process optimization.
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Manhattan SCALE WMS and deep knowledge of warehouse operations and system integration:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience implementing Manhattan SCALE WMS in complex warehouse environments.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and warehouse management processes, including inbound, inventory, and outbound operations.
- Hands-on experience with system configuration, integration, and troubleshooting within SCALE WMS.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL, SSRS, and basic cloud environments.
- Experience supporting ERP integrations and warehouse automation systems (MHE, conveyors, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex system and operational issues.
- Excellent documentation skills and ability to produce structured functional and technical artifacts.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across clients, vendors, and technical teams.
- Ability to provide user training and frontline operational support in high-volume warehouse environments.
