This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Vice President, Management and Financial Lines in the United States.

This senior leadership role is designed for an experienced executive to drive growth, retention, and operational excellence within the Management & Financial Lines practice. You will oversee complex client engagements, provide strategic guidance to internal teams, and strengthen relationships with carriers and market partners. Acting as a mentor and technical leader, you will support producers and account teams, ensuring best-in-class placement execution and delivery of innovative risk solutions. This role combines strategic planning, operational oversight, and hands-on leadership to achieve long-term business objectives. You will collaborate across practices to maximize cross-selling opportunities, manage high-value accounts, and provide expert insight into emerging market trends and coverage strategies. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to navigate complex client and market relationships.


Accountabilities:
  • Partner with practice leadership to develop and execute enterprise growth, retention, and new-business strategies
  • Oversee practice operations including pipeline management, forecasting, and at-risk account strategies
  • Lead complex, high-value client placements, negotiating sophisticated coverage structures with domestic and international carriers
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders on program design, limits, retentions, alternative risk structures, and coverage enhancements
  • Drive cross-selling initiatives and collaboration across practices and regions to deliver integrated solutions
  • Mentor and develop producers, brokers, and account teams, elevating technical expertise and consultative skills
  • Ensure operational discipline, system utilization, governance, and quality control across all engagements
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in insurance brokerage, underwriting, or specialty risk advisory with a focus on financial lines
  • Property and Casualty license required; Surplus Lines license strongly preferred
  • Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or CIC preferred
  • Strong relationships with carriers and demonstrated expertise in market negotiation and placement execution
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to evaluate complex situations, make informed decisions, and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel as required to support client and business needs
