This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the strategy and user experience of a high-growth fintech platform while building research systems that empower the entire product organization. You will lead strategic initiatives, generate actionable insights, and establish frameworks that make research scalable and repeatable across teams. This position combines leadership, hands-on research, and operational innovation to influence company-wide decisions on product, pricing, brand, and international growth. The role is remote-friendly, highly collaborative, and ideal for a researcher who thrives in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments. You will work closely with product managers, designers, data analysts, and executive leadership to ensure evidence-based decision-making is at the heart of the organization.
Accountabilities:- Lead and execute strategic research initiatives that inform high-stakes company decisions, including pricing optimization, persona development, and market entry strategy.
- Build and maintain a centralized research repository, research panels, and operational systems that increase research accessibility and repeatability.
- Partner with product, design, CX, and analytics teams to integrate insights across all customer touchpoints.
- Develop and run workshops, 1:1 coaching, and templates to enable PMs and designers to conduct self-serve research safely and effectively.
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable recommendations, personas, frameworks, and artifacts that guide product and business decisions.
- Track, measure, and improve research velocity, adoption, and organizational impact.
- Present findings to stakeholders, including executive leadership, and contribute to a culture of insight-driven decision-making.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in user research with a strong portfolio demonstrating strategic impact.
- Expert in qualitative research methods, interviewing, surveys, and quantitative analysis, with experience pairing research with analytics and experiments.
- Proven ability to synthesize research, analytics, CX, and sales signals into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience building or improving research operations, including repositories, workflows, intake processes, and insight tracking.
- Skilled at designing and enabling research systems for non-researchers to conduct safe and useful studies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex findings for diverse audiences.
- Experience with modern research and analytics tools (e.g., Dovetail, UserTesting, survey platforms, Figma, Notion, Slack, AI-based analysis tools).
- Comfortable working in high-ambiguity, fast-paced environments.
- Fintech, crypto, or DeFi experience is a strong plus.
- Passion for mission-driven products and improving user access to technology.
