This role sits at the center of trading operations, ensuring seamless execution and oversight of equity, options, fixed income, and mutual fund transactions in a fast-paced financial services environment. You will act as a key operational expert, supporting financial professionals, field leaders, and internal stakeholders with high-quality trade processing and issue resolution. The position requires strong analytical thinking and the ability to manage risk-sensitive activity with precision and confidence. You will also serve as a critical liaison between trading platforms, operations teams, and external partners, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency at every stage of the trade lifecycle. This is a highly collaborative role where your expertise directly impacts execution quality and client experience. You will contribute to process improvements and operational enhancements in a dynamic, regulated environment where attention to detail is essential.


Accountabilities:
  • Provide day-to-day trading and operational support to financial professionals and internal teams, ensuring accurate and timely execution of equity, options, fixed income, and mutual fund trades.
  • Execute, review, and approve trades while ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and platform requirements.
  • Monitor market data, equity quotes, and fixed income inventory to support informed trading decisions and client servicing needs.
  • Manage escalated trade-related issues, corrections, corporate actions, and disbursements with accuracy and strong risk awareness.
  • Review daily operational reports, debit balances, and compliance indicators to ensure adherence to supervisory and regulatory guidelines.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between trading platforms, operations teams, and financial professionals to resolve inquiries and ensure smooth workflows.
  • Maintain and enhance operational documentation, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in financial services, brokerage operations, or trading support.
  • 3–5 years of experience in trading desk support, brokerage operations, or a similar financial services environment.
  • FINRA Series 7, 24, and 53 required; Series 4 preferred.
  • Strong understanding of trading products including equities, options, fixed income, and mutual funds.
  • Experience with Pershing systems, NetX, or similar trading platforms strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial and operational concepts clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and related operational tools.
