This position involves preparing and reviewing tax documents, maintaining forecasting and analytical models, and supporting audits and regulatory inquiries. The analyst collaborates with internal teams and external advisors to manage tax filings, conduct research on tax laws, and contribute to process improvements. Additionally, the role supports M&amp;A integration and tax provision processes, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with tools such as PowerBI and SharePoint.<br></span></p><p style="line-height: 1;"><span class="sc-ivRniu iJuiWj" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Job Duties</strong><br>• Prepares or reviews a variety of tax related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations.<br>• Prepares / maintains tax forecasting and other analytical models<br>• Assists in the preparation and distribution of tax forms.<br>• Responds to notices or audits from states, including preparing materials for submission, coordination over the phone, etc.<br>• Researches, interprets, and understands existing or revised tax codes, laws, or forms.<br>• Modifies work procedures to reflect changes in tax law or code.<br>• Coordinates with external advisors and other team members to complete projects and meet deadlines.<br>• Performs tax reconciliations and determines liability for accounts, divisions, or business units.<br>• Prepares and maintains tax forecasting models, develops tax analytical models using tools such as PowerBl, and helps with other similar analytical projects.<br>• Files monthly/quarterly/annual non-income tax returns as required.<br>• Conducts and documents reviews of workpapers/returns provided by external advisors.<br>• Collaborates with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting.<br>• Participates in process improvement initiatives to enhance tax department efficiency.<br>• Provides support for M&amp;A integration activities, including tax data consolidation and compliance alignment.<br>• Supports annual and quarterly tax provision process<br></span></p><p style="line-height: 1;"><span class="sc-ivRniu iJuiWj" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Experience And Education</strong><br>• Business or Accounting degree. CPA preferred<br>• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a tax-related function, BIG 4 or in-house<br>• Experience multiple tax types including corporate tax, partnership tax, state and local tax, sales &amp; use tax highly desirable<br>• Experience with SharePoint, PowerBi, and other analytical tools preferred<br>• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax regulations<br>• Experience with M&amp;A tax preferred<br>• Experience with tax provision process and tax accounting preferred<br></span></p><p style="line-height: 1;"><span class="sc-ivRniu iJuiWj" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Required Skills</strong><br>• Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment<br>• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint<br>• Comfortable with using SharePoint, PowerBi, and other such tools<br>• Demonstrates ability to research tax matters and documentation of findings and recommendations<br>• Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work<br>• Pays attention to detail and accuracy<br>• Strong verbal and written skills<br>• Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills<br>• Accounting and research skills.</span></p><p style="line-height: 1;"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>COMPENSATION:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p style="line-height: 1;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The national average salary&nbsp;for this role is $100 000.00 - $120 000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits.
