We are hiring a Tax Accountant with strong review experience to join our growing public accounting team.
This is a remote-friendly role with 2 days onsite weekly in the Orlando area, ideal for someone who wants to focus on review, strategy, and higher-level thinking — not just tax preparation.
What You'll Own
- Review individual, partnership, S-corp, and corporate tax returns for accuracy, compliance, and planning opportunities
- Identify tax strategies and planning opportunities to add value for clients
- Review and adjust QuickBooks financials to ensure tax readiness
- Provide feedback and guidance to a distributed support team
- Communicate directly with clients on tax-related matters
- Improve internal workflows, processes, and review standards
- Operate independently with ownership over your work
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong experience reviewing tax returns (not just preparing)
- Proficiency with UltraTax (Thomson Reuters)
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Knowledge of individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience working with offshore or distributed teams is a plus
- CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
