The Role:

As a Senior Talent Partner at DailyPay, you will play a key role in driving the success of our Commercial recruitment efforts by ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for both candidates and hiring teams. You will collaborate with Commercial leaders to define hiring needs, design tailored recruitment strategies, and proactively build candidate pipelines using innovative methods, leading our Commercial sourcing strategy from initial reach out to offer. This role requires strategic thinking, a strong understanding of industry trends in competitive markets, and a commitment to delivering diverse, top-tier talent that aligns with DailyPay's objectives.

In addition to recruiting, you will mentor and guide the Talent Acquisition team, provide leadership on complex hiring initiatives, and influence strategic decisions related to talent acquisition across all functions in the business. Your ability to lead by example and collaborate across functions will be critical to your success in this role.

This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office (3 days in office)

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Partner with the Commercial business leadership to understand hiring needs and create data-driven recruitment strategies that align with both short-term and long-term objectives

  • Anticipate hiring needs by building robust talent pipelines for future roles across multiple commercial functions

  • Be the guardian of the candidate experience, ensuring every person, whether hired or not, has a positive, transparent interaction with the brand

  • Build lasting relationships with high-potential candidates, strategically growing our talent community to nurture and align top-tier professionals with immediate and future opportunities at DailyPay

  • Bring external data and industry trends to the table to help managers make smarter, more realistic hiring decisions

  • Own the recruitment process for senior leadership and "hard-to-fill" roles, ensuring they align with the company culture and goals for the business

  • Map out the talent market, keeping a pulse on market attrition and target companies

  • Own top-of-funnel efforts to identify and engage world-class talent through advanced sourcing techniques. Proactively identifying and engaging high-quality passive talent

  • As a champion of the DailyPay employer brand, you’ll gain candidate buy-in by effectively telling our story and selling the long-term vision

  • Use Ashby (ATS) not just for tracking, but for storytelling, using data to show leadership where the bottlenecks are and how to fix them

  • Constantly tweak the recruitment machine to make it faster, fairer (DEI focus), and more efficient

  • Enable the wider Talent Acquisition team by setting the standard for what high-performance recruiting looks like as well as providing guidance and support

  • Proactively identify and integrate AI-driven solutions to streamline the recruitment lifecycle, from automating administrative tasks and enhancing candidate screening to leveraging predictive analytics for better hiring outcomes. You will stay at the forefront of AI to ensure the team is operating at peak efficiency

  • Outside of active hiring, you’ll take the lead on strategic projects like diversity initiatives, employer branding, or refining the interview processes across the business.

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 8+ years recruitment experience, combining agency and in-house experience, with a focus on commercial hires

  • An established and growing network of both emerging and renowned commercial professionals and leaders

  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial job profiles, e.g. Account Executive, Business Development, Partnerships, Channel, Sales Engineering, Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement, Sales Training

  • Proven track record of designing and scaling high-volume generalist hiring programs while maintaining a full-cycle personal desk, spanning from Junior ICs to executive-level searches

  • Demonstrated experience in leading or mentoring Talent Acquisition teams, focusing on elevating team performance and fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders and executive leadership

  • Deep technical knowledge of Applicant Tracking Software (Ashby), LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing stacks to build efficient, scalable workflows

  • Expertise in translating recruiting metrics and market insights into actionable strategies that improve candidate quality and hiring metrics

  • Forward-thinking approach to recruitment, with hands-on experience utilizing AI tools to automate manual tasks and optimize processes

  • Ability to build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships across different time zones

  • A deep-seated commitment to maintaining a transparent, respectful, and gold-standard candidate journey at every touchpoint
