Senior Systems Engineer

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and optimizing enterprise systems that enhance internal workflows and overall employee experience. You will focus on productivity platforms, particularly Atlassian tools, and play a key role in designing scalable processes, automations, and integrations. This role offers the opportunity to influence IT strategy, provide technical leadership, and implement best practices while supporting a high-growth and dynamic environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor colleagues, and ensure systems meet business, security, and operational needs efficiently. Your contributions will directly impact organizational productivity and the success of internal technology initiatives.

• Accountabilities
• Architect, design, and deploy workflows, automations, and configurations across Atlassian systems including Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
• Support enterprise projects and manage sensitive data with best-in-class security practices.
• Maintain, deploy, and optimize add-ons and integrations such as JEMH, Structure, Custom Charts, and other Atlassian extensions.
• Develop scripts and workflows to automate recurring tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Act as an escalation point for system-related issues and provide guidance to team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to implement and enforce system policies.
• Create, maintain, and document procedures, standards, and technical solutions for internal systems.

• Requirements
• Proven experience in administering enterprise productivity platforms, especially Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
• Expertise in building workflows, automations, and integrations via APIs or CLI tools.
• Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with enterprise system administration in fast-paced, high-growth companies.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and proactive mindset.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with productivity tools, platform integrations, and automation strategies.
