Who You Are

Ontic is looking for a Strategic Intelligence Analyst to play a key role in serving our clients. As an Ontic Strategic Intelligence Analyst, you are naturally curious, adaptable, and eager to consume intelligence around the industry, client focuses, and geopolitical events. You’ll become a power user of the Ontic platform to effectively support and understand client use cases.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Ontic Platform and support clients in achieving their business objectives, this role requires someone who is excited to be hands-on in the Platform.

• Plan, conduct, and complete open source intelligence (OSINT) and investigative research to support client use cases and business decisions.

• Find and analyze open web and social media content; construct new OSINT tradecraft documents and workflows to drive repeatable reporting practices.

• Deliver client-facing presentations and training sessions, supporting onboarding and driving user adoption.

• Assess data, synthesize analytical insights, and develop actionable intelligence findings.

• Demonstrate knowledge of investigative and intelligence cycles and related methodologies.

• Proactively monitor media sentiment and provide ongoing intelligence updates relevant to client needs.

• Advise clients on in-platform solutions, best practices, and platform configuration (basic to intermediate) to drive value realization.

• Serve as a technical resource during pre-sale efforts and for at-risk accounts, demonstrating product value through real-world examples and reports.

• Support recurring client relationships, identifying opportunities for expanded usage and engagement.

• Collaborate with internal teams as a subject matter expert (SME) to test new features and close feedback loops with Product and Customer Success.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or five years of demonstrated experience in intelligence or related investigative fields.

• Experience conducting intelligence research, building reports, and using investigative tools and data sources.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on both client-facing projects and internal initiatives.

• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and presentation skills.

• Experience using tools such as LexisNexis, Clear, TLO, Pacer, or Unicourt.

• Comfort with OSINT platforms and boolean search logic to support investigative use cases.

• Familiarity with real-time monitoring across open web, social media, and dark web platforms.

• Membership in OSAC, ASIS, or ATAP is a plus.
