About the role

  • The Block Sales Team is looking for a seasoned and highly strategic revenue leader to join our organization. As a Senior Strategic Account Executive, you'll be responsible for architecting and closing high-impact media partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising deals with top-tier crypto-native companies, as well as broader fintech and traditional financial institutions brands. If you possess a deep rolodex of industry decision-makers and speak crypto fluently — we want you.

What you'll do

  • You will work directly with the existing revenue team and own the full sales cycle. Moreover, by leveraging our strong industry network, you will expand your existing knowledge base and have the opportunity to build your own personal brand on social media and within the industry.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • At least 8-10+ years of proven success in media, advertising, or enterprise-level sponsorship sales
  • Strong understanding of crypto, blockchain, and digital assets (you're at least crypto-curious, ideally crypto-native)
  • Track record of building multi-million dollar pipelines and consistently closing large-scale, complex sponsorship deals exceeding $250K+
  • Strong client relationship skills and a hunter mentality
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Bonus if you have:
  • Experience selling across multiple media formats (display, audio, events, content syndication)

What Success Looks Like

After 3-6 months in this role, you will have:

  • Directly manage and scale a pipeline of enterprise sponsorship and advertising opportunities
  • Prospect, pitch, and close deals across display ads, podcasts, newsletters, events, and custom programs
  • Build strong relationships with marketing leaders, growth teams, and brand managers across crypto and fintech
  • Collaborate with our Media, Research, and Events teams to package sponsorship solutions that drive real value
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
  • Stay ahead of crypto market trends, key players, and marketing budgets shifts

Work location & Authorization

Candidates must have the legal right to work in the country where they reside or where this role is based without sponsorship.

Flexible PTO
This role has an on-target earnings (OTE) range of $170,000–$240,000, which includes base salary and commission. The base salary range for this position is $85,000–$120,000.

Working Hours & Time Zones

You’ll primarily collaborate with team members and clients globally. We promote async work but may require some overlap hours.
