We are seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead full-stack development initiatives across marketplace and search experiences for consumer-facing products. In this role, you will define the technical vision, establish architectural best practices, and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that directly impact customer engagement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and drive strategic technical decisions that support growth and reliability. Accountabilities

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will:

• Define and lead the technical vision, long-term roadmap, and strategic initiatives for marketplace and search experiences.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical excellence and alignment with business goals.
• Build scalable, reliable, and high-performing solutions across iOS, Android, and Web platforms.
• Guide architectural decisions, platform choices, and implementation strategies to support core features.
• Mentor engineers, establish best practices, and foster a culture of ownership and accountability.
• Drive delivery of critical initiatives with measurable impact on user experiences and customer value.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10+ years of experience in full-stack software development, delivering consumer-facing applications.
• Proven track record leading complex projects and coordinating multiple engineering teams across organizational boundaries.
• Hands-on experience with frontend and backend technologies; experience with Kotlin, Python, or mobile/web development is a plus.
• Deep understanding of system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to influence stakeholders and guide technical decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred:

• Experience shaping technical strategy in high-growth, consumer-focused organizations.
