Senior / Staff Engineer (Platform)

Our vision of a "delightfully simple" digital ordering experience for clinicians pushes us forward to transforming the world of post-acute care. </div><h4>Responsibilities</h4><ul><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Support frontend platform maintenance and architecture across our web applications.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Mentor engineers & author documentation on the proper component usage and frontend standards defined by you and the Platform team.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop in an agile environment, including TDD and flexible pair programming.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Contribute to teams, working with product and design to shape the application.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Direct key technical decisions related to application and data model design.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain stable and performant application stacks.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Consistently deliver quality code that supports business goals.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Understanding of data structures, TDD, and software engineering design patterns and principles.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to lead a team in making technical decisions.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring timely resolution of critical system issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our system reliability and availability</li></ul><h4>Requirements</h4><ul><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production environment with React and TypeScript.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Deep understanding of CSS/SCSS, HTML, and modern JavaScript fundamentals.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong understanding of software engineering principles, UX/UI concepts, and design patterns.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Knowledge of web best practices and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience in agile development environments including TDD and pair programming.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Comfortable making well-reasoned tradeoffs between speed and quality in a customer-centric product environment.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">The ability to work closely across teams (and time-zones) and manage dependencies</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Must reside in the U.S.</li></ul><h4>Nice to Have</h4><ul><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with backend technologies (Ruby, Python, Node.js).</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with Storybook, Gatsby, and Sanity CMS.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, etc.).</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Accessibility expertise and experience mentoring others on accessibility.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Experience managing or mentoring engineers.</li><li style="font-size: 12pt;">Exposure to healthcare technologies.</li></ul>* Must live in continental United States.<h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li style="font-size: 12pt;
